Today was Inspection
Day at the new house! It went awesome! There was only a couple minor
things that the inspector talked about, and when I say minor...I say
MINOR! Tighten down the toilet downstairs, repaint an exterior door
frame (slight peeling), and re-stain a couple window sills that have
faded from being in the sun on the East facing wall. Easy peasy! We were
so excited to hear all this! The inspector was really impressed with
the house, and said it was one of the top 3 houses he has inspected in
the last year! Very exciting! :)
The only downfall
for today was that the temperature was -12 with a windchill of -30.
Yikes! Needless-to-say it was a little chilly walking around the outside
of the house for the inspection summary! Definitely a hot chocolate and
marshmallows kind of evening! I hope this finds the rest of you staying
warm and enjoying your MLK day!
