Well this last week was the start of the construction phase on the basement! It's amazing how fast these guys work! This week was set aside for demo, framing, and HVAC installation, and it did not disappoint! We left for New Orleans to attend a conference for Ian's work on Tuesday, April 28th, and the framing was pretty much done by then! They only had to finish up soffits and a couple arched frames!
We also have enjoyed the awesome communication between us and the project manager! There were a couple things we had to tweek and approve as things were being framed in, but our project team is amazing at keeping us in the loop, having regular meetings, and staying up-to-date on any changes being made! It's really nice knowing we don't have to worry about the little details all the time!
